Been away from the computer for a while now. My first computer entry in over 2000 miles - touring europe at the mo - (check out the map on the last blog entry at twenty-somthing!) Glad youre off on a break too. Only ever got to see the south when i was stateside last year seeing my then reserve forces yummy...mmm...tell me what is best to see...am looking for a big trip to better this one next year. But cant quite think what could top bronzed men, quality food and 40° ;)
How much time will you be in Savannah? If you are into nice restaurants, try the Olde Pinke House on Abercorn St. www.citysearch.com should help you plan a lot no matter where you are. Have fun
Susie, I have tons and tons of tips on DC, especially food. If you'd like some specific advice about anything feel free to email me : firstyearorlast@gmail.com
If you only have a day in Savannah, just explore the squares and the riverwalk during the day. Head to city market for a little more laid back experience. They usually have a band at night. You could always spend some time at the beaches near Savannah as well. I think either Sea Island or Cumberland Island has wild horses that run around on the beach.
So, here is my blog. It's all about me, unsurprisingly, and my adventures through life and law school. Law school that I have wanted to attend since I was about seven watching LA Law on TV. And since my Law studies at school and my masters. And of course the inspiration provided by the Honourable Elle Woods, the original and best Legally Blonde.
So yes, I'm blonde, I'm a law student and I like pink. I have not as yet obtained a small dog to keep in my handbag but I'm getting there. Those things cost a fortune!

Thanks for all the tips guys!
BG - we're only there for a night and a day, staying at one of the historic inns which should be good. Any other insider advice is much appreciated.
FY - thanks I'll drop you a line a bit later on.
LB - you never know!
