Bonjourno from Sicilly!

Been away from the computer for a while now. My first computer entry in over 2000 miles - touring europe at the mo - (check out the map on the last blog entry at twenty-somthing!) Glad youre off on a break too. Only ever got to see the south when i was stateside last year seeing my then reserve forces yummy...mmm...tell me what is best to see...am looking for a big trip to better this one next year. But cant quite think what could top bronzed men, quality food and 40° ;)

How much time will you be in Savannah? If you are into nice restaurants, try the Olde Pinke House on Abercorn St. www.citysearch.com should help you plan a lot no matter where you are. Have fun

BG - we're only there for a night and a day, staying at one of the historic inns which should be good. Any other insider advice is much appreciated.

If you only have a day in Savannah,just explore the squares and the riverwalk during the day. Head to city market for a little more laid back experience. They usually have a band at night. You could always spend some time at the beaches near Savannah as well. I think either Sea Island or Cumberland Island has wild horses that run around on the beach.
